According to Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), the Rossoneri management have talked with the Roc Nation agency and with the lawyers who are part of Ziyech’s entourage. Despite being a different player from Charles De Ketelaere, Ziyech could also play alongside the Belgian as the right winger, with the Brugge star as the playmaker.
The Moroccan would guarantee an upgrade in attacking threat compared to Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers, but even if De Ketelaere does not arrive then the feeling is that he can play as an attacking midfielder too depending on the form of Brahim Díaz and Yacine Adli.
The paper claims that Chelsea have opened to the sale of the player with the formula of a loan with option to buy at €20-25m. The biggest obstacle currently is the €6m net per season salary received by Ziyech.
As they are doing with Inter for Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea could choose to help facilitate things by paying a part of his salary.
