Anto Vitiello writes in his column for MilanNews that Milan have had success from a sporting point of view, given that in the last two years the Rossoneri have won a Scudetto and have achieved a return to the semi-final of the Champions League.

This has led to a marked improvement in the club’s accounts too from the extra revenues that come, and they are now ‘one step away’ from hitting break even when it comes to the budget.

In fact, Milan hope to have no losses when the next accounts are published and they also hope to then move into the positive from there after almost 20 years, given that the last time Milan had a positive balance was in 2006.

The work from a financial point of view has been ‘extraordinary’, naturally helped by the victories on the pitch which have accelerated the whole process, with turnover going from almost €200m when the Chinese ownership were in place to the current €350m.
