Guerra has been mentioned as one of the priorities for Milan’s midfield this summer, following Tijjani Reijnders’ exit, and negotiations could soon heat up with Valencia. Indeed, now that the player has been knocked out of the U21 Euros, the Rossoneri can make a proper move.

Spain’s U21 side finished first in their group, level on points with Italy but with more goals scored, and thus advanced to the quarter-finals. However, their journey ended last night as England prevailed 3-1, but at least Guerra got on the scoresheet.

Taking the penalty awarded in the 39th minute, Guerra made no mistakes and brought his team back into the game. It wasn’t enough in the end, but Milan surely kept an eye on the 22-year-old during the tournament, in which he did really well overall.
