Marco Sportiello is now just one step away from AC Milan after many months of having the agreement in place. The goalkeeper is currently undergoing his medical tests and will then sign the contract.

Given the departures of Ciprian Tatarusanu and Antonio Mirante, Milan needed a new second-choice goalkeeper and reached an agreement with Sportiello already back in February. Today, the 31-year-old arrived for his medical.

It’s believed that he will sign a three-year contract worth €500k per season, which is a great deal for Milan. Certainly, he’s proven to be a good backup.
