Whether it be Real Madrid, Italy or Milan themselves, there have been more than enough rumours about Allegri heading elsewhere in the near future. Indeed, it seems like the multi-year project could be collapsing around the Rossoneri’s feet.

Just a few months ago, this didn’t seem possible. However, the club are currently a mess – there is no other way of really describing it.

Reports have recently suggested that there are issues between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the coach, too. So, no one is safe from the toxicity that has once again consumed the club.

Allegri’s Azzurri idea

According to Corriere dello Sport, things are reaching a bit of a boiling point. As a result, Allegri is once again considering his future. Despite it seeming like he would campaign to stay, the report suggests that the 58-year-old is mulling things over.

Indeed, he is becoming more open to being Italy’s next head coach amid the fallout from the past few months. If the Diavolo qualify for the Champions League, he will get a pay rise and an extension on his deal. But, he may be willing to leave that behind.
