Milan’s 38 year-old goalkeeper Christian Abbiati spoke to RAI following “i rossoneri” 5-0 second leg Semi-Final thrashing over third tier Alessandria, bringing the aggregate score to 6-0.
“It was one of our objectives this season and we accomplished it,” the veteran shot-stopper told RAI after the match.
“We are happy to have reached the final, now we’re thinking about the League which is very important for us.”
“We have always believed, despite our initial difficulties. We are trying to come back, but it’s not easy. However, we are doing well and from tomorrow we start to think about Sunday’s game [at Sassuolo], which will be very difficult.”
