A second face to face meeting between AC Milan and Club Brugge over Charles De Ketelaere took place yesterday, and the Rossoneri have no intention of giving up right now.
As reported this morning by Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Brugge have made it clear that their asking price will remain at €35m because they had an offer of €37m from Leeds United in the Premier League. De Ketelaere, however, reached an agreement with Milan and specifically asked to join the Rossoneri.
The Belgian champions are trying to get a figure as close as possible to what Leeds offered but Milan remain on a figure close to €32-33m, though the negotiation is far from over and if anything there is confidence.
Yesterday’s meeting in Lugano seemed like a decisive one but in reality there is still room for manoeuvre for the Rossoneri given the distance is only €2m. After such a long negotiation and after trying for the player for so long, it is difficult to think that Milan will walk away and the next few hours will be decisive.
