Sky: Milan’s market heavily influenced by De Ketelaere – the latest on Ziyech and CB pursuit

Some updates have arrived on the tracks that AC Milan are working on to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Speaking on Sky (via PianetaMilan), Marco Demicheli reported that Charles De Ketelaere is the number one target for the Rossoneri and the player wants to join too. Milan’s final offer is €30m plus €2-3m in bonuses, while Club Brugge want €35m, and the negotiations will not go beyond Tuesday evening which has been set as a deadline.

Hakim Ziyech is a player that Milan also like and there have been contacts with Chelsea and the entourage of the former Ajax man. Chelsea would have to contribute to his salary as Milan do not want to pay it all.

If De Ketelaere arrives, Japhet Tanganga should arrive on loan with an option to buy, otherwise the money set aside for the Belgian will go towards Evan N’Dicka of Eintracht Frankfurt.

There was also talk about Pape Sarr with Fabio Paratici of Spurs, a midfielder they could loan, while in the background Renato Sanches remains an option with PSG not having found an agreement with Lille yet.
