MN: Questions raised about Milan’s rigid market strategy as target nears Juventus move

AC Milan have made their stance clear when it comes to negotiations in the transfer market, but it is a risky one that will sometimes backfire.

MilanNews reports how the Rossoneri management have deployed a clear and coherent market policy that is now well known: the club will not participate in auctions even at the cost of missing out on some targets. The club operates according to its parameters and they will not pay above what they believe a player is worth based on internal technical and economical evaluations.

But for every situation, there is an exception, and Kaio Jorge is the latest. The Brazilian striker is a profile that Milan have been following for some time and negotiating with for a long time, but Juventus moved with greater decision and accelerated the operation.

After having finally managed to dispel the taboo of head-to-head clashes on the pitch, Milan will have to be able to do it also on the transfer market, because the likelihood is that if the Diavolo have spotted a young talent, they are not alone.
