Agent claims signing Milan-linked Verona defender would be like getting ‘3/4’ players

The agent of Hellas Verona defender Filippo Terracciano has claimed that signing him would be like signing three or four players at once given his versatility.

Geoffrey Moncada said before the Cagliari game last night that more defenders are needed, and Terracciano is one of the names that has been increasingly linked over the past few days. The 20-year-old has been a starter at Verona for a season and a half now.

Andrea D’Amico – who is Terracciano’s agent – spoke on Radio Serie A about his client and certainly did a good job of pitching the fact that he can cover multiple different roles.

“With Filippo Terracciano you don’t sign one player, but you sign 3/4 of them because he plays left-back, right-back, against Juventus he even marked Vlahovic. He plays in midfield and, in the national team, also as an attacking winger,” he said (via MilanNews).

Calciomercato.com provided an update on Milan’s pursuit of the Italian, claiming that Terracciano has promised himself to the Rossoneri and that there was a meeting between D’Amico and the management in which personal terms were agreed over a contract until 2028.

A first direct contact with Verona is already expected in the next few hours and Milan will put on the table a €4-5m offer to beat the competition from Fiorentina and Juventus and hopefully to quickly close the negotiation.
