Agent of Club Brugge star confirms Serie A is a ‘possible destination’ amid Milan and Inter links

The agent of Club Brugge defender Odilon Kossounou has confirmed that a move to Italy is ‘possible’ amid links with both Milan clubs.

Patrick Mork – who looks after the interests of the player along with Marc Benson – discussed the possibility of his client making the move to Italy.

“Serie A is a possible destination. For Odilon we are talking to many clubs, from Italy we have received various interests both last summer and now,” he said (via InterLive.it).

“He is a special player, difficult to compare him to some past or present defender. For me he is a complete defender, very fast as he demonstrated last year in the Champions League against a certain Mbappé.

“The price made by the media (20 million euros) is too low. Obviously there is always a lower evaluation than the actual value of the boy.”

VoetbalBelgie recently claimed that Kossounou’s strong performances are attracting interest from some top clubs. The 20-year-old Ivorian is being watched closely by Arsenal, Wolves and Inter, but they added that Milan would like to bring Kossounou to Serie A this summer.

They claimed that the Rossoneri are looking for a potential replacement for Alessio Romagnoli, who is only under contract until 2022 and wants a pay rise that the club are not happy to offer. Technical director Paolo Maldini is therefore on the lookout for possible alternatives and has been impressed by Kossounou’s performances.
