Reports suggest agreement between Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt star is imminent

Reports this morning suggest that AC Milan are closing in on the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Daichi Kamada on a free transfer.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan seem to be ‘one step away’ from reaching a full agreement with Kamada ahead of what would be a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Japanese attacking midfielder has a contract with Eintracht Frankfurt that is about to expire, and a deal is close. The paper even adds that an agreement between the parties is assumed to be imminent.

Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) report that Kamada is currently negotiating his salary with the Rossoneri management but the parties are moving towards an agreement of €3m net per season plus bonuses.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara must accelerate to close the deal, given that Borussia Dortmund, Atlético Madrid, Napoli and two other clubs who are not yet identified are also pushing for Kamada.
