Al-Hilal are increasing the pressure to try and convince Theo Hernandez to join them from AC Milan, according to a report.

The left-back has just one year left on his deal and earlier in the week it was reported that Milan and Al-Hilal had agreed a deal worth around €35m. Theo, though, rejected the idea of a move there, hoping to get a top European club, with Atletico Madrid then entering the scene.

According to Sky, there could be ‘an increasingly Italian Al-Hilal’. After the hiring of Simone Inzaghi, there are two more bids expected in the next few hours for two players from the Italian league: Theo and Victor Osimhen.
New contacts are planned to try to get the two players from Napoli and Milan, who at present seem to be unconvinced by the idea of moving to the Saudi Pro League, having set their preference to be a stay in Europe.
Osimhen played last season at Galatasaray, but only on loan from Napoli. The issue for him is that he rejected the first contract offer of €26m net per year, and then did not accept the new offer of €30m either.
Theo ‘would prefer to stay in Europe’ the source confirms, given that Atletico Madrid are also on his trail, having also proposed Nahuel Molina as a counterpart. However, Milan’s desire is to obtain only money from his eventual sale and they hope he says yes to Al-Hilal, therefore.
