Yesterday evening, news broke that Milan have also joined the race for Liberali. The Rossoneri are keen to bring back the talented playmaker just one year after they let him go permanently to Catanzaro in Serie B.
The player had asked for a move 12 months ago to find more playing time. Liberali made the right choice, having excelled in Serie B this season and attracted the attention of many Serie A teams.
Amorim the key?
This even applies to the new Milan boss Amorim, who is pushing to bring him back to Milan, as MilanNews confirm. The club are ‘increasingly pressing for Mattia Liberali’ and they’re ‘pushing to bring him back’.

Amorim plays a key role in convincing the Italian, who he considers ‘an ideal talent’ for his tactical set-up. However, Sassuolo and Como are also in the running, having made their first move and offering a project that could be more attractive to the player.
