Milan are currently in the midst of some very important changes, starting with the new sporting director Igli Tare who officially joined one week ago. He then got to work on hiring a head coach, with Massimiliano Allegri appointed on Friday.
While the likes of Inter, Juventus, Atalanta, Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina all have situations to resolve pertaining to who their head coach will be next season, Milan moved in advance and can now fine-tune things.
Speaking of which, Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) report that it now seems certain that Maurizio Sarri will return to lead Lazio, with only the signatures missing. His coaching staff is almost complete too, with the only missing position being that of match analyst.
The former Napoli and Juventus coach wanted to rely on Enrico Allavena, who spent years at Lazio and last year at Monza. However, the paper states that he should join Tare at Milan and thus be part of Allegri’s team.
There are a number of other names expected to assist Allegri at Milan – nine in total, as per a recent report – from his right-hand man is Marco Landucci to athletic trainer Simone Folletti.
