Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar is the subject of interest from a number of different clubs and AC Milan have once again been mentioned among them.
According to a report from Relevo, Real Betis are willing to offer €30m package to sign Aouar whose contract with Lyon expires at the end of the season, but the midfielder is awaiting proposals from both LaLiga and other teams in Serie A and the Premier League.
Betis are willing to offer him a €2.5m net per season deal plus a bonus worth €5m, while also guaranteeing the player 30% of the proceeds from any future sale. They also invited his brother to Seville weeks ago, given he has a say in the negotiaiton, to get to know both the city and the atmosphere of the Benito Villamarín.
Moreover, there is a strong bond between Aouar and Nabil Fekir who is also with the Verdiblancos, but there is competition for the Spanish side to overcome. Nottingham Forest are keen, but Aouar’s brother has excellent relations with various intermediaries linked to Italian clubs.
The most significant talks have taken place with the two Milanese teams: AC Milan and Inter. The player has given priority to the Rossoneri above other Serie A sides, while Roma have requested information too.
