Tuttosport: Odegaard fires expletive rant at Pioli – “It’s a friendly”

Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard was not particularly happy with AC Milan’s Sandro Tonali during yesterday’s friendly that was played in Dubai, a report claims.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), there was some tension between Milan’s head coach Pioli and Arsenal’s captain Odegaard following a tough tackle made by Tonali, that forced the Norwegian to question the intensity levels.

There was a collision late in the first half between Arsenal’s Fabio Vieira and Tonali, which forced Odegaard to speak up as he was not happy about what he perceived to be a bit too much heavy-handedness in tackles.

As per the paper, he walked up to Pioli before shouting: “F***ing two times! It’s a friendly.”

Odegaard would open the scoring inside 21 minutes with a free-kick that left Tatarusanu rooted to his spot, and then Vieira had a hand in their second goal as he set up Reiss Nelson shortly before half-time.
