There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Milan squad, who still don’t know who will lead them next season. Rafael Leao has already made clear his desire to leave, while there are no doubt others who might be speaking to their representatives to see what offers come in.

Jashari’s agent might well have already fielded some calls. In fact, it was claimed last week that Atalanta and Roma have already undertaken exploratory talks with the Swiss player’s entourage, as they are keen to snatch him from Milan after just one season.

Atalanta’s interest concrete

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky have confirmed that Atalanta’s interest in Jashari is complete. The Bergamo club are tracking the 23-year-old, who had an unlucky season upon his arrival in Italy. Due to physical problems, he played only 17 games for the Rossoneri, but an old admirer is interested.

In fact, Atalanta’s new sporting director – Cristiano Giuntoli – wanted him during his time at Juventus and now wants to bring him to Bergamo. Maurizio Sarri is also interested in working with the former Brugge star.

However, Milan will need to be open to a sale which seems unlikely after spending over €30m, and they do not currently have a management in place either.
