BBC: Milan make contact for departing Liverpool forward

AC Milan have made the first contact to try and sign departing Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino on a free transfer this summer, a report claims.

As has been reported by the BBC (via Twitter) in the United Kingdom, the Rossoneri think that Firmino would be a good addition to the team.

The Brazilian forward has been at Liverpool for almost a decade and has been an important player throughout, but he will be leaving when his contract expires at the end of June.

Many teams have been linked with him due to his undoubted quality, and Milan have begun the work to convince him that the San Siro should be his next destination.

He is not the only Premier League player that Milan are trying to sign, with Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek also being a very serious target.

Firmino is one of a number of free transfers Milan are being linked with.
