AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer is not expected to make his return to the pitch until after the Fiorentina match on March 4, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), Bennacer will not be returning to the team as soon as some other injured stars.
The squad has been buoyed by the fact that Mike Maignan and Alessandro Florenzi trained in full with the rest of the squad at Milanello on Wednesday morning.
For Bennacer and Davide Calabria, they continued to do their own personalised training rather than being in the full session.
The Algerian midfielder is struggling with a muscular injury and it it now believed that the Serie A match against Fiorentina on March 4 will come too soon, which puts him at a serious risk of also missing the Champions League return leg against Tottenham Hotspur which is only four days later.
