AC Milan and Newcastle United could run into each other once again in the summer window as both reportedly have an interest in Jesper Lindstrom of Eintracht Frankfurt.

According to a report from Bild, Eintracht have set an asking price of €30-40m for Lindstrom having previously rejected an offer worth €25m from RB Leipzig for the Danish international, who can play as a playmaker or on the right.
However, Lindstrøm has previously said that he wants to carry on playing in the Champions League which is where Newcastle or Milan could be able to sell their project well.
He joined Frankfurt two years ago in a €7m deal from Brondby and won Bundesliga Rookie of the Year. He played 38 times last season for them, scoring nine goals and adding four assists too.
Eintracht had a difficult season in the league after their Europa League win in 2021-22, eventually rescuing a place in the Conference League as well as reaching the DFB-Pokal final where they lost to Leipzig.
