CorSera: €30m defender expected to be first signing of the Investcorp era at Milan

AC Milan already have their first signing of the summer lined up and the takeover will not change those plans, according to a report.

We reported via our colleagues at SempreMilan.it earlier this week that a change of ownership is expected at the end of the season as Milan will pass from an American fund to a Bahrain-based one, but it will not revolutionise the managerial nomenclature as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will stay.

Maldini and Massara have already worked on some transfer operations such as those that should bring Divock Origi and Sven Botman to the Rossoneri next season, and Investcorp believe each to be good purchases from an economic point of view.

Now, il Corriere della Sera (via Calciomercato.com) have confirmed our news regarding Botman. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are working on the summer market despite the possible change in owners, and Investcorp will not stand in the way of the first signing of the summer being the Dutch defender for €30m.
