AC Milan must make a decision on whether they want to keep Brahim Diaz in the coming months given his loan expires at the end of the season.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) confirms that Brahim’s loan from Real Madrid runs out on 30 June, with the option to buy him permanently for €22m in the summer, but Los Blancos have the opportunity to buy him back for €26m.
Essentially, the ball is in the hands of Florentino Perez’s club who have not yet made a decision on what to do with Diaz. All the parties involved are reflecting, although obviously a lot will also depend on how the second half of the season goes for the 23-year-old.
Milan invested €35m for Charles De Ketelaere over the summer and have not yet decided on whether to invest another €22m on a player for the same role, because another sizeable expense must be evaluated with extreme caution.
A great second part of the season could convince Milan to buy him, but obviously it could also push Real Madrid to bring him back to Spain. At the end of the current season, the LaLiga champions will say goodbye to several players on expiring deals such as Asensio, Ceballos and Mariano Diaz.
