CorSport: Brahim Diaz has preference on future ahead of meetings between Milan and Real Madrid

AC Milan and Real Madrid are planning meetings to discuss the future of Brahim Diaz, a report claims, with the player having made his stance clear.

Brahim Diaz joined Milan on an initial season-long loan from Real Madrid in the summer of 2020 and then came back on a two-year loan starting last season, meaning he is a few months away from returning to Spain as things stand.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) however, the will of the parties seems to be clear. Brahim Diaz knows that he would not find the same playing at Real Madrid and for this reason he would like to stay at Milan.

The Rossoneri, also due to the lack of guarantees from Charles De Ketelaere, are not shutting the door on the idea of keeping Brahim beyond the end of the current season.

The clubs have scheduled several meetings in the coming weeks. Real Madrid’s request is €22m to sell the 23-year-old permanently, a figure that Milan would like to try to lower as much as possible.
