Friday was a special day for Francesco Camarda and Christian Comotto as they both put pen to paper on long-term renewals.

The news had been doing the rounds for a few days, and we exclusively reported back on July 15 that Camarda and Comotto were going to sign contract extensions within the next few days. Sure enough, the announcements came yesterday that the striker and the midfielder have signed until 2031.
Gerry Cardinale gave his thoughts on the news by stating that the pair embody everything that it means to be Milan, pledging to put more faith in players that have come through the youth academy. Meanwhile, Camarda has now posted on social media too.
“Together again! Thanks to the club for their trust and to you fans for your affection. Ready to give my all, as always. Wearing this shirt is special, and doing so again for years to come is a dream that continues. FORZA MILAN.”
Comotto also published a post on his Instagram profile expressing his appreciation that the club have showed renewed faith in him.
His post reads: “An honour to extend my relationship with the club that raised me and that I love. Thank you, Milan.”
