Repubblica: Cardinale due back at San Siro in February after five months of silence

AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale is due back in Italy next month but there is a worrying silence regarding the plans for the future, a report claims.

La Repubblica (via MilanNews) published an article talking about Milan’s current situation from market strategies to the new ownership and renewals, as well as fluctuating performances on the field which are not helping the general mood.

Gerry Cardinale is next expected to be at San Siro for the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie against Tottenham. It is a fairly prolonged absence from Italy for the Rossoneri owner who hasn’t spoken for five months, which is essentially when he took charge.

Some supporters have been left worried by the lack of a clear vision dictated by Cardinale and by the fact there has been little transparency on the short, medium and long-term plans, which must be addressed sooner rather than later.
