Three Chelsea players skip training and could miss return game against Milan

Chelsea are likely to be without three players for their Champions League group stage clash with AC Milan at San Siro, according to a report.

The last round of action in the competition saw Chelsea breeze past Milan 3-0 as they were frankly better in every department, bumping the Rossoneri from first in the group to third as Red Bull Salzburg won against Dinamo Zagreb, so Stefano Pioli’s men will very much be looking to exact some revenge.

As reported by the official Chelsea website (via MilanNews), there were three Chelsea players who skipped the last training session before the squad will leave for Milano, with departure set for the early afternoon.

The players are Wesley Fofana – who came off with a knee injury during the win over Milan – as well as midfielder N’Golo Kantè and winger Hakim Ziyech. Graham Potter is sure to provide further updates on the injury situation in his press conference.
