MilanNews are one of a few sources who have claimed Milan are monitoring Broja as a potential option for the future after West Ham United, Real Madrid, Napoli and Newcastle all showed interest during the last summer window.

At the end of the summer mercato Broja renewed with Chelsea until 2028, despite the choice of the Blues to sign former Milan man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Milan are following him very closely, and his first goal for the London club at the weekend against Wolves was a welcome milestone.

Goal.com journalist Nizaar Kinsella spoke during an interview with MilanNews and he was asked about the situation surrounding the Albania international, revealing Chelsea’s desire to keep him but also the possibility he could leave.

“Armando Broja has just scored his first goal for Chelsea. He is a really exciting talent, a powerful striker who knows how to dribble and is very dangerous when attacking in behind. Obviously he is growing, he has to get used to playing at a high level and he still has a few flaws. He could improve, especially in his heading ability,” he said.

“Chelsea have just offered him a new contract, but I wouldn’t rule out a future transfer entirely. The club needs to let him play and he has not yet started a game. The player, however, loves Chelsea and certainly does not give up, convinced that he can compete for a spot.”
