CM: Arnautovic idea gaining momentum for Milan as striker rejects Roma

AC Milan will have to make changes to the attacking department this summer and a new striker could arrive from Bologna, a report claims.

As Calciomercato.com report, only Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud are certain to stay at the moment, with the likes of Divock Origi, Ante Rebic (who has a market in Germany) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all potentially heading for the exit door.

Milan are thinking of a future without Zlatan in particular given his age, injury problems and the fact his contract is expiring, and there is already a potential replacement lined up for the Swede: Marko Arnautovic.

The Austrian striker is now 34 but he knows Serie A, seems to guarantee goals and can offer an alternative to Pioli in the attack. He is under contract at Bologna until 2025 but a summer exit seems certain, and he said no to Roma because he wants the Rossoneri.

Now, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara must now find an agreement with the Rossoblu. His salary would not be an obstacle as the former West Ham striker earns €3m net per season, around €4.5m gross thanks to the Growth Decree.
