Calciomercato.com reports that the negotiation between the Spanish side and Udinese has come to life as Atleti are big admirers of De Paul, who is coming off the back of a season with 9 goals and 10 assists and wants to join a big club.

De Paul has bewitched Diego Simeone and the leaders of the Colchoneros who now want to sign the Argentine, but the asking price is €40m, which can be lowered by inserting counterparts. Atletico have already talked to both the player and Udinese and the negotiations are moving fast, while the player has already given his approval to the move.

Milan are currently watching, focused on other priorities such as the permanent signing of Sandro Tonali and Fikayo Tomori. De Paul would be the ideal attacking midfielder for Stefano Pioli, but at the moment the Rossoneri are unable to reach the required amount of €40m, while the future of Hakan Calhanoglu must also be resolved.
