The potential departure of Rade Krunic has forced the AC Milan management to look into potential replacements and one of the targets is Nicolas Dominguez.

According to Calciomercato.com, Krunic is ‘bewitched’ by Fenerbahçe’s proposal and by the possibility of playing with his compatriot and friend Edin Dzeko in Turkey, so Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada want to be prepared for if he leaves.
Among the names probed by the management to replace the Bosnian is that of Nicolas Dominguez, the 25-year-old midfielder who has decided not to renew his contract – expiring in 2024 – with Bologna.
He is pushing to be sold by September 1, when the summer transfer market will close its doors, so for this reason Thiago Motta has decided to remove the captain’s armband from him and has given it to Jerdy Schouten.
It is a choice that Dominguez has accepted because he has great respect for Bologna, for the club that brought him to Europe, and that’s why he doesn’t want to leave under a cloud of confrontation.
The Argentine wants to find a solution that can please everyone so his agent is fielding calls from interested clubs, with Sevilla and Milan standing out above all.
Much will depend on the offer because Bologna want at least €10m to sell, despite the fact his contract will run out in less than a year. It is a tough obstacle for the Rossoneri to overcome, but salary would not be an issue.
