CM.it: Vlasic working to get Milan a better deal after informing CSKA Moscow of his intentions

AC Milan appear to be biding their time in their pursuit of Nikola Vlasic with the player doing his bit to push through the move, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.it, Milan are keen on Vlasic because he can play in all the roles behind the striker, has a great eye for goal (12 in the 2020-21 season) and is just 23 years of age meaning there is ample room for him to grow as a player.

In recent days contacts through intermediaries have progressed and the Croatia international has made his will clear: he wants to join the Rossoneri and has made the Russian club understand that. It was not a transfer request, but in any case he made his intentions to join Milan known.

Vlasic not intend to have a volatile break in relations with CSKA, with whom he still has a contract until 2024, and instead would like to maintain good relations with the Moscow club, hoping to get Milan a discount on the price (currently around €30m) and a softening of the formula. CSKA want an obligation to buy, while Milan want an option.
