As per Calciomercato.com, Milan haven’t increased their initial offer of €2.8m per year to their captain and the latter is thus thinking about the future, also because Sven Botman is expected to arrive from Lille ahead of next season.
Talks with Lazio over a move have begun and both parties are very enthusiastic about the operation. The Biancocelesti have made a convincing five-year offer worth €3.2m plus bonuses to Romagnoli, who is ready to accept the deal.
The only thing that remains is agreeing on the commission for Romagnoli’s agent, Mino Raiola, but there is optimism that a closure can arrive soon. However, before then, the defender will have to take on his next club with his current one tomorrow.
