AC Mllan have reached an agreement with Lorenzo Colombo over the extension of his contract and it could precede a loan deal, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com (via SempreMilan.it), the Milan management have reached an agreement with Colombo for a two-year extension of his current contract expiring in 2025.
The former Lecce and SPAL loanee will therefore extend his deal until 2027 with the Rossoneri, but also may not remain in Stefano Pioli’s squad for the remainder of the campaign.
The idea of a loan spell to get the 21-year-old more consistent playing time has never gone away, with Cagliari, Genoa and Monza all wanting to sign him and willing to do so via a formula that will satisfy Milan.
However, Milan will have to find a replacement for the Italian centre-forward in the final days of the transfer window before they consider sanctioning a loan deal.
