CM: Milan and Inter fade into the background as Bayern Munich lead race for striker

AC Milan enquired about the signing of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic but have fallen behind in the race, a report claims.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Vlahovic and Fiorentina remain at loggerheads over a potential renewal and the recent words of their owner Rocco Commisso have not helped things, as he challenged the striker to make a decision on his future.

Juventus are working hard to bring him to Turin, but the required figures certainly represent an obstacle for the Bianconeri, while the new frontrunner seem to be Bayern Munich who are now one of the club most interested in landing the 21-year-old.

Inter and Milan have made enquiries in the past as they both look for potential long-term options for the No.9 role, but both clubs are described as being further back in the race, possibly because of the transfer fee that would be involved.
