CM: Milan ‘big admirers’ of Lille star Renato Sanches – Rossoneri’s stance as asking price emerges

AC Milan are big admirers of Lille star Renato Sanches but he does not appear to be a priority at the moment, according to one journalist.

According to the latest from Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com during an Instagram live (via MilanPosts), Milan ‘really admire’ Renato Sanches who continues to shine for Portugal at the European Championships.

He is a profile that is in line with Elliott Management’s recruitment vision as he is still young and has big potential but can make an impact immediately. However, the problem is that Lille are asking for at least €30m to sell him and Milan are not intending to spend that for a midfielder.

Instead, they prefer to concentrate on securing Hakan Calhanoglu’s substitute, i.e. a player who is perhaps a more natural number 10 and will be an ideal fit for the responsibilities that the playmaker in Stefano Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 system has. For the latest on the left wing situation, click here.
