CM: Milan could conclude signing of Chelsea striker next week – the figures and details

Milan have seemingly found their deputy for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who won’t be able to play every game for the team this season. In fact, they have reached an agreement in principle to sign Olivier Giroud, a report claims.

Giroud’s contract will expire at the end of June and as reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan have an agreement in principle to sign him on a free transfer. The 34-year-old got the perfect ending to his Chelsea adventure, winning the Champions League last night.

The agreement is on the basis of a two-year deal worth around €4m per season. Giroud has been looking for a house in Milan and the final details should be defined next week. In fact, the medical tests could take place very soon.

Bar any big surprises, Giroud will become a new Rossoneri player and take the role as the deputy for Ibrahimovic next season. A good signing for the club, considering the calibre of the player.
