CM: Milan have a ‘good chance’ of signing Fulham star on a free transfer

It is looking more and more like AC Milan will have to wait until the summer to strengthen the defence and the management have their eye on two free transfers, according to a report.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan remain alert in the final few hours of the winter mercato to try and seize an opportunity like Jakub Kiwior of Arsenal, Clement Lenglet of Barcelona (on loan at Aston Villa) or Lilian Brassier of Brest.

A surprise last-minute solution cannot be ruled out, but Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio are planning for the future too and they want to try secure at least one free transfer ahead of June.

Abdul-Nasir Oluwatosin Adarabioyo – better known as Tosin Adarabioyo – is the main candidate to join Milan for 2024-25. The Fulham defender’s deal will expire in July and he has not yet accepted a renewal offer.

Moncada has already had more than one positive discussion with his brother-agent, and there is a ‘good chance’ that the deal will go through.

In recent weeks, Milan have inquired again about Lloyd Kelly’s situation. The Bournemouth captain will also be available on a free but in this case the competition is much stronger, which is why Adarabioyo is favoured.
