Calciomercato.com writes that Milan are looking for a reinforcement on the left who can allow Theo Hernandez to manage his work load in the 2021-22 season and provide guarantees when the time for rotation comes.

This week in the centre of Milan the Rossoneri club met the agent of Junior Firpo, a left-back owned by Barcelona who Milan actually faced in the Europa League during the 2018-19 season, when the Spaniard was playing for Real Betis.

During the meeting Maldini and Massara stressed their appreciation of the 24-year-old player and revealed their desire to sign him on loan from the Blaugrana, after a season in which he played just 7 league games.

Barcelona are waiting for outright offers, with West Ham particularly interested, given that they paid €18m plus €12m bonuses in the summer of 2019 which means they hope to recoup some of their investment.
