CM: Milan await Valencia response with optimism after improving offer

Yunus Musah remains the primary target for the midfield and AC Milan recently presented an improved offer to Valencia. The Rossoneri are now awaiting the response both with optimism and haste, a report claims.

Milan need one more midfielder before the midfield can be considered complete and the priority on their wish list is Yunus Musah. The Valencia midfielder is liked above all for his defensive traits and negotiations between the parties have been ongoing for quite some time.

According to Calciomercato.com, in the last meeting between the two clubs, Milan tabled an improved offer worth almost the €20m Valencia are asking for. The Rossoneri increased the bonuses of their offer but the base remains at around €13m for now.

Milan are now awaiting the response with optimism and haste, as they will travel to Los Angeles tomorrow for the pre-season tour. It’s unlikely that Musah will make it, but an agreement in the coming days could allow him to join the Rossoneri a little late.

The alternative could be Bologna’s Nicolas Dominguez, whose contract will expire next summer. He knows the league well and is also appreciated by Stefano Pioli.
