CM: Serie A teams showing interest in Lazetic – when Milan will let him leave

AC Milan striker Marko Lazetic has had a positive preseason but his exit on loan is currently being blocked, according to a report.

Milan are heading into the new campaign with only one fit striker as Divock Origi is still not back at 100% after a muscle problem he sustained towards the end of his time at Liverpool while Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not return until early next year, leaving just Olivier Giroud.

Calciomercato.com report that Lazetic has been one of the bright sparks of the friendly games so far especially following his brace in the 7-1 win against Pergolettese yesterday. He could have become an Empoli player, as the Tuscan club asked for him on loan, but Origi’s condition blocked the deal.

The former Red Star striker will only leave the Rossoneri on loan when the Belgian striker is back in full swing with the group. MilanPress reported yesterday that Torino manager Ivan Juric has requested to sign Lazetic on loan, just like how Tommaso Pobega moved there last summer.
