The two clubs will meet again on Tuesday to try and complete a deal for the Poland international.

The Rossoblu are keen to secure a player arriving in the opposite direction, Corriere della Sera claims, but so far a suitable name has not been identified.

Andrea Bertolacci has no intention of leaving San Siro, while Alen Halilovic and José Mauri do not convince Genoa.

If an agreement cannot be reached, the Rossoneri may have to pay a slightly inflated price for Piatek, believed to be around €38m.
