CorSport: Clause in contract could see Milan rewarded for patience in Bremer pursuit

AC Milan and other suitors are aware of a clause in Gleison Bremer’s contract at Torino that could see him arrive in a cheaper deal, a report claims.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Bremer is among Milan’s transfer targets as they look to bolster the rearguard with a new centre-back to replace the outgoing Alessio Romagnoli, but finding an agreement this summer might not be easy given his high asking price.

However, the paper claims that there is a particular clause present in his contract which is tempting to the Rossoneri and others who are interest. In January 2023 Bremer would free himself for less than €15m thanks to a clause in the contract signed when he renewed with Torino.

Therefore, there would be an element of reward for patience as signing him in the winter would result in a discount that is potentially close to 50% on the current €25m price being widely reported at the moment.
