On Tuesday, AC Milan will need the best squad available as they will face Liverpool in the Champions League. Rafael Leao is one of the key players and he should be available for the game.

The Portuguese youngster was taken off at half-time last night due to a minor issue, as was confirmed by Stefano Pioli post-match. As said, he’s one of the players that can unlock the Liverpool defence and it will thus be important to have him available.

According to today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), it shouldn’t be anything serious but today, his condition will be evaluated by the medical staff. But again, Milan are not worried about the situation.

Having said that, they have had such bad luck with injuries this season that they don’t take any risks anymore. Evaluating Leao’s condition thus perhaps sounds worse than it actually is. The player will want to be there on Tuesday as well, that’s for sure.
