CorSport: Milan deny reports of agreement with want-away James Rodriguez

Milan are looking for a playmaker on the market and have been linked with several players in recent weeks. Of course, many of the links are not concrete and it seems James Rodriguez is an example of that.

There have been several reports recently suggesting that the Rossoneri have more or less reached an agreement with the Everton star. It’s clear that the playmaker wants to move on in his career and Jorge Mendes, his agent, is at work to solve this.

According to today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), though, Milan have not confirmed the reports and especially not the salary ones. In reality, Rodriguez has a salary that the Rossoneri can’t pay as things stand.

As we know, Milan are very strict when it comes to the salary and have already parted ways with Gigio Donnarumma as well as Hakan Calhanoglu for that reason. The Rodriguez links, therefore, are not to be taken seriously for now.
