CorSport: Milan retain hope as PSG stall on Renato Sanches – €10m bid accepted

AC Milan are not yet out of the race to sign Renato Sanches from Lille as Paris Saint-Germain continue to remain dormant, a report claims.

Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) have given an update on the negotiations over Renato Sanches. The main news is that PSG – after expressing an initial interest in signing him – have not accelerated and are yet to present an official bid.

This leaves a chance for the Rossoneri to swoop and they are continuing to have phone calls with Lille, as per the paper. The Ligue 1 side have even accepted Milan’s €10m offer given that his contract expires in 2023.

However, an agreement with the player and his agent Jorge Mendes is still missing and that is the final piece of the puzzle for the Rossoneri, who will keep trying to get their number one target for the midfield department following Franck Kessie’s exit on a free transfer.
