CorSport: Milan retain hope as PSG stall on Renato Sanches – €10m bid accepted

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not yet out of the race to sign Renato Sanches from Lille as Paris Saint-Germain continue to remain dormant, a report claims.

Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) have given an update on the negotiations over Renato Sanches. The main news is that PSG – after expressing an initial interest in signing him – have not accelerated and are yet to present an official bid.

This leaves a chance for the Rossoneri to swoop and they are continuing to have phone calls with Lille, as per the paper. The Ligue 1 side have even accepted Milan’s €10m offer given that his contract expires in 2023.

However, an agreement with the player and his agent Jorge Mendes is still missing and that is the final piece of the puzzle for the Rossoneri, who will keep trying to get their number one target for the midfield department following Franck Kessie’s exit on a free transfer.

  1. The Renato Sanches – Milan situation is just a preview of what will happen with Leao and Milan. Same agent who is pimping his clients around for more money. If PSG was that interested in Renato and his price is 10+ mil, he would have signed for them weeks ago.
Even though i want Renato at Milan, we should move on to a different target.
If Leao doesn’t sign a new contract by August 1st Milan should start negotiations with clubs for his sale.
Thta way you’ll have a month to sell and replace him

  2. I am pretty sure the time has come to dump all mendez players as well.

    Lets move on from Renato.

    First.. we don’t need him.
    Second.. he doesn’t want us.

There is no reason to stay waiting for him. Let him rot on whichever bench he wants to rot it. He is not going to be starter in ANY Big clubs.
