According to Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Pulisic is ‘one step away’ from joining Milan and should follow Marco Sportiello, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Luka Romero as the fourth reinforcement of the summer window.
Milan have offered €18m plus €4m in bonuses, while Chelsea’s €25m asking price has softened because of the winger’s desire to leave and move to Italy. He even has an agreement over personal terms: €4m net per season for four years.
For Pioli, Pulisic is a wild card for his attack because he can play both wings as he has done at Dortmund and Chelsea, but he can also function as a playmaker in a 4-2-3-1 as he has done for the USA national team.
His arrival would also be important from a marketing point of view for the club, given that RedBird Capital are keen to increase Milan’s brand presence in the States.
