One of the players that are destined to leave Milan this season is Andrea Conti, who has just returned from his loan spell at Parma. The Rossoneri were hoping that the latter would activate the clause, but that didn’t happen.

Unlike other returning loanees such as Mattia Caldara, who will be evaluated during pre-season Conti’s future seems decided already as Milan are preparing the sale. Per Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Sampdoria are interested in the player.
Roberto D’Aversa, who was in charge of Parma, has taken over the club and has requested the signing of Conti. Milan are willing to sign another right-back and the exit of the former Atalanta man could facilitate this.
It remains to be seen what the transfer fee of the operation would be, but it won’t be much. The buy-out clause at Parma was set at around €7m and Milan are expected to get even less now, perhaps around €5m.
