Having a player like Reijnders makes things much easier for Milan. From a squad perspective, he improves the team massively, with his quality and flexibility. However, players will also prefer to come to a team with players like the Dutchman.
Of course, he is not the only star who is possibly not going to be at Milanello next year. But, his exit is the closest to happening, and the most likely, as things stand with a medical scheduled for tomorrow.
Roll the credits
Calciomercato.com have written that the credits are already going, with a complete agreement in place and medical scheduled. For many, it is seen as a bargain for Manchester City, who are gaining one of the best midfielders in the league last season.
Unfortunately for the Diavolo, there is no risk of the deal falling now, even if time is running out to get the deal done, so we have already seen the last of Tijji. The English club moved early and quickly, and will secure the services.
The Rossoneri cannot dwell, though. Instead, they must get moving on a replacement, or even plural, replacements.
